Zoning Commission, is planned for a 5-acre site south and east of New York Avenue and west of Fourth Street NE. The assemblage, less than two blocks west of the Union Market building, is home to a series of\u2026<\/span><\/li><li><h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/washington\/breaking_ground\/2016\/09\/weddingwire-packing-more-employees-into-montgomery.html?ana=RSS&amp;s=article_search\" target=\"_blank|_self\" rel=\"external\">WeddingWire packing more employees into Montgomery County<\/a><\/h3><br\/><span class=\"rss_excerpt\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.bizj.us\/view\/img\/5512651\/chi*100xx3072-3072-0-0.jpg\" alt=\"\">The ever-expanding wedding marketplace company WeddingWire Inc. sees massive growth in its future \u2013 and it needs hundreds more employees and more office space to make it happen.\n\nChevy-Chase based WeddingWire plans to add 200 jobs in Montgomery County, bringing its local workforce to 550 and its global workforce to about 1,000. It will also add 18,000 square feet to its existing 50,000 square feet of office space.\n\nThe latest move takes the company even further from its humble beginnings nine years\u2026<\/span><\/li><li><h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/washington\/breaking_ground\/2016\/08\/robinson-terminal-north-developer-we-got-caught-in.html?ana=RSS&amp;s=article_search\" target=\"_blank|_self\" rel=\"external\">Robinson Terminal North developer: &#039;We got caught in a hotel downdraft&#039;<\/a><\/h3><br\/><span class=\"rss_excerpt\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.bizj.us\/view\/img\/5044761\/robinson-terminal-north-aerial*100xx885-885-296-0.jpg\" alt=\"\">The developers of an Old Town Alexandria waterfront project provided a little more detail on why they put their plans on hold in a New York Times piece detailing the long efforts to transform the city\u2019s waterfront.\n\nIn late July, CityInterests Inc. and Rooney Properties announced they were halting their recently approved plans for the 3-acre site along N. Union Street.
